FINDERS KEEPERS
FINDERS KEEPERS
Portraits of people and the things that hold them. We hold on to more than things - we hold on to who we were when we found them. Each object is a quiet archive, anchoring memory in something we can touch.

It would remind me of the times I've decided to persist, in those moments fading felt easier.

The Present.
3. What part of you lives inside this object?
The part of me that lives inside my earphones are my thoughts and emotions. When I put them on, it’s like I’m in my own space where I can reflect, reset, and recharge. They carry the music and sounds that inspire me, motivate me, or calm me down, depending on what I need.
4. If someone found this years from now, what story do you hope they’d tell about you?
I hope they'd say these earphones belonged to someone who listened to music not just for fun, but to understand life, love, and themselves. Each song would show a different chapter of my emotions and growth.
5. If this object had its own campaign, what would the tagline be?
Hear the dream before the world does.

My travel journal is both an archive of my past and a collection of empty pages naive to future adventures.

The side that seeks out adventure, who craves nostalgia and who’s a little too reflective with a smidge of existentialism.

That I have nice handwriting and had some very legitimate musings of the world.

1. If this object could whisper a memory back to you, what would it say?
The memory this object first whispers back to me is when I first bought it going hiking at the King’s Canyon with my mother. It reminds me of spending time in beautiful rural Australia with her.
2. Where in your life does this item belong: the past, the present, or the future?
I believe this item to be perpetual as it finds use throughout time. This item holds significance in my past due to the fond memories it holds, however it is useful throughout my present and future due to the utilities it can provide.

I’d say my hands are what live inside this item as the item itself is essentially an extension of my hands functionality.
4. If someone found this years from now, what story do you hope they’d tell about you?
Not sure they’d find much of a story, however the item has my name engraved on its side so I hope they can determine that it belonged to a “Joseph” at least.
